DIY Rocking Chair Makeover
Sarah from Flourish & Knot refinished this gorgeous rocking chair that belonged to grandmother. She estimated it was 60+ years old! I just love the detail in this wicker rocking chair. Sarah’s blog is all about make-it-yourself: crafts, recipes, home improvement, decorating, sewing, gardening, floral arranging, and entertaining. Her motto is “If I can do it myself, it’s fair game!” So be sure and check her out!
Easy DIY Frame Makeover
Jessica from Your Healthy Year took a thrift store frame and refinished it into this elegant chalkboard / dry erase board. I love how she made this combo! She was also able to make this DIY project for under $20. What an awesome way to stretch your budget! Jessica loves running and living a healthy lifestyle. Be sure and check out her blog.
How to Paint Clouds on Your Ceiling
Tina from Los Gringos Locos has an easy step by step DIY project for painting clouds on your ceiling. I love this idea in a powder bath or nursery. With a little time and paint you could easily transform your bathroom ceiling or nursery. Tina lives in Mexico and has 4 kids! She loves to blog about their move to Mexico, life in Mexico, and homeschooling 2 of their kids. Check her out for some amazing tips.
Vintage Suitcase Makeover
Betsy from Happily Ever After, Etc is truly a gifted DIY’er. She loves vintage items and has recently refinished a vintage suitcase. Notice how she painted it with three different colors and hand painted her blog logo it, that really gives this suitcase personality. I really, really, really suggest you head on over to her amazing blog and find you some great DIY projects.
