My life is hectic! I own my two small businesses, write on three blogs, and am a mom of three. WOW! That sentence just made me tired… So I am always on the lookout for ways to save time and increase productivity. I have found the perfect solution if you are a blogger and trying to save time. Today I’m going to share with you how CoSchedule saves me time!
What is CoSchedule?
This post is in no way sponsored by CoSchedule. They did not pay me to write it, but I do receive a small discount off my service if you use my links.
Simply put CoSchedule is an all in one way to schedule all your content on WordPress and social media shares. It has a simple to use calendar interface that can be used alone but also integrated with WordPress.
Here is a great video that tells you all that is about!
How Does CoSchedule Work?
CoSchedule has a fantastic drag and drops calendar that you can use to schedule, move shares, or delete items. Below is a sample of my personal calendar and it includes all my blog posts for the week and all my social media shares on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and on my personal Facebook profile. See how easy it is to see holes in your schedule, and you can quickly add some shares to fill them up.
Tip: I no longer need to worry about when is the best time to share! CoSchedule has that option built into your social media shares! That take a load off my mind as a blogger.
Why I Love CoSchedule Saves Me Time With Social Queue!
You can write blog posts in it and then use it to schedule a drip campaign of social shares all in one place. I love that it has built-in suggested times to form a nice even social media schedule. When you first publish a post it is going to have suggested for that day of, next day, week after, month after, or you have the option choose anytime other time that would work well.
Tip: You can setup templates if you do the same shares at the same time. One more way CoSchedule saves me time!
How Top Post Feature Reminds Me to Schedule Older Posts!
With 500 things happening each and every day it is so easy to forget re-sharing old posts! You have worked hard on them, and a lot are still evergreen posts (blog term for content that is always applicable and needs to be in your social media rotation). CoSchedule has an excellent built-in option to filter post by different time frames. By doing that, you can pinpoint what needs to be shared at different times.
Tip: Here you can see how many shares you have received by each social media account you have connected. If you look to the far right there is a yellow bar, and once you have enough share scheduled it will turn green! I love visual reminders like that.
What Does CoSchedule Integrate With?
CoSchedule integrates with a lot of cool services like WordPress, Evernote, Google Docs, Google Analytics and major social media tools like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Buffer, and even Google+ Pages.
Update 10/11/16: CoSchedule has now added Instagram, More Analytics, and ReQue (auto posting of Old Posts)!
Who Should Use CoSchedule?
Any blogger who is looking for ways to save time and make the most of their sharing calendar. A blogger who is for a seamless WordPress Integration. A Blogger who still wants control of what is being shared.
Simply put if you are a blogger on WordPress you really should give CoSchedule a try! Use this link to get a FREE 14-day trial of CoSchedule, and see how much time you save!
